Benefits of buying our ex-fleet excavators
You may be wondering why you should buy used excavators when there’s the option of purchasing brand new machines. So before we dive into talking about some excellent machinery, we’ll run through a few of the benefits of buying used construction machinery.
Price
Buying used digger equipment is obviously going to be cheaper than buying brand new. Depending on the machines, you can potentially get two pieces of used machinery for the price of one that’s brand new.
Depreciation
As soon as a brand new machine leaves the dealership, the value begins to drop. Whereas if you keep your used machine well maintained, you’ll likely be able to sell it for a similar price as you paid for it.
Lead times
When buying brand new, sometimes you will have to wait for the machine to be manufactured and delivered. As well as waiting for parts that might not be readily available yet. So avoid being scrooged over by unexpected waits and choose to buy used machinery from a reputable dealer.
Komatsu PC26 MR-3
The Komatsu PC26 MR-3 mini excavator is the perfect stocking filler machine. Weighing only 2800 kg and measuring at 2.5m tall and 1.5 wide. They’re perfect for use on smaller construction sites with limited space. Home renovations (including helping to deck the halls), landscaping, roadworks and sewers are all examples of how this mini digger could be used.
However, don’t let the size of this excavator fool you into thinking it’s not a powerful machine. The PC26 features a short tail design which helps to deliver optimal digger speed and power, even in confined spaces. Komatsu has also ensured that this mini digger is sturdy and stable. Guaranteeing maximum safety and operator confidence when working in any conditions.
If you are looking to buy a Komatsu PC26 MR-3, you can view all of our available machines here. All machines at IPS have had only one previous owner. Coming to us directly from our sister companies H. E. Services (Plant Hire) Ltd and Diggerland. So we can guarantee these used excavators have been well looked after. Which is a quality that we think you’ll love, actually.
Komatsu PC138 US-11
The Komatsu PC138 US-11 is a tracked excavator. Weighing almost 14 tonnes and measuring 2.8m tall and 2.5m wide. This is another excellent machine that’ll have you belting out a Christmas carol in celebration of finding one under your tree. The tracks on this excavator make it a really versatile machine. Allowing you to move with ease across a range of terrain that wheeled machines could struggle with.
Like the PC26, the PC138 US-11 also features a short tail design. Making this a more compact model of tracked excavator. The 1.48m tail swing radius and rounded profile of the machine makes it perfect for use in confined spaces. This excavator is particularly great for use in urban areas, demolition and roadworks where you may be restricted to using just one lane.
