The popular manufacturer JCB was founded by Joseph Cyril Bamford in 1945. Looking to buy a JCB?
If 2020 has bought us anything, it’s more electric construction machinery. The 1.9 tonne JCB 19C-1E mini excavator was the first electric digger to be released in 2018. The JCB 30-19E Teletruk then joined the market in 2019.
Since then JCB has recently released a new electric product to the construction market.
The key features of the HTD-5E electric dumpster include:
- 9kW electric motor and travel speeds of up to 3km/hour
- Maximum two-hour charging time
- Zero emissions
- A 500kg carrying capacity
- 1,450mm skip ground clearance in tipping position
- Can be used for interior or exterior work
- The electric dumpster can also fit through standard sized doorways for any indoor work!
As the dumpster is electric, it will have no internal combustion engine. Users will find that servicing and maintenance requirements will be greatly reduced, which will boost uptime and productivity.
